
It’s 2018 and we have mobile Phones, Laptops, Tablets and now smart speakers, TV’s and even watches all connected to the internet and all able to give us information. Technology is getting smaller and faster and so is the pace at which we want to find things online!

If you’ve ever searched for “supermarket near me”, “where’s the nearest petrol station?” or “what’s the best restaurant in a certain city?” then your not alone . . . these types of searches for local businesses are happening all the time?
. . . more and more people are doing this and it’s becoming even more common to ‘ask’ our devices these questions than it is to ‘type’ them in.
So whether it’s Siri, Cortana or Alexa you find yourself speaking to . . . you need to make sure that your beauty business is not only properly set up to be included in any “beauty salon near me” or “skin clinic in london” type of search . . . but to stand out from the crowd AND be listed first or at least the top three.
Why?
Because just as people wouldn’t look past page one of Google . . . they aren’t going to listen to search results being read out to them for very long from their Apple HomePod or Amazon Echo!
